Summer 2023
Architects of the World.
Welcome to Fox in the Pine Summer Camp
Architects of the World.
Our camp this year is designed to inspire and challenge young minds to explore the world of architecture while having fun and making new friends.
Our campers will embark on a journey to become the architects of their own world. They will learn about the different styles of architecture from around the world and the principles that go into designing buildings.
What will our campers gain from this experience?
Develop Creativity and Imagination: The camp will give students the chance to explore their imagination and creativity through designing and building structures. They will learn how to visualize their ideas and turn them into reality.
Enhance Problem-Solving Skills: Architecture involves a lot of problem-solving skills, and this camp will help students develop these skills. They will learn how to identify problems, come up with solutions, and make decisions that will ultimately lead to the successful completion of their projects.
Foster Collaboration: The camp will provide students with opportunities to work in groups and collaborate with their peers. They will learn how to communicate effectively, share ideas, and work together towards a common goal.
Learn Real-World Skills: Architecture is a real-world profession, and the skills that students will learn in this camp can be applied to many areas of their lives. They will learn about measurements, spatial awareness, and construction techniques, which are valuable skills that can be applied in other fields.
What are the activities that will be included in the program?
Our program will include a wide range of activities, such as designing and building models of buildings, exploring the history and culture of different architectural styles, and visiting local architectural landmarks. We will also have guest speakers and workshops to help children learn about sustainable design and urban plan.
What is the language used in the program?
Our Summer Camp is the perfect opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a unique learning experience. Our program is mainly in English, enabling students to enhance their fluency as they learn terminology related to architecture and culture. We also have teachers who speak Greek on hand to provide support and guidance to any students who may need extra help.
What age group is this summer camp designed for, and what is the cost?
